There are several mechanisms for enforcing judgments in Nigeria as provided for in the relevant statutes and as expounded in judicial decisions. In what follows below the ALP Dispute Resolution Group discusses the legal framework for the enforcement of domestic judgments as well as the rules for the recognition and foreign judgments in Nigeria. Emphasis is also placed on the trends and development in that field with relevant references to contemporary decided cases.”
