Exploring the New Market Opportunities and Policy Challenges for Africa's Private Sector under AfCFTA

The African Continental Free Trade Agreement (the AfCFTA) private sector dialogue is a series of virtual townhalls designed to provide the African private sector with the opportunity to engage in and contribute to the implementation of the AfCFTA. Some of the topics to be discussed over the span of the series include, but is not limited to, the implementation of the AfCFTA in the goods and services sectors and addressing issues such as dispute resolution, investment and digital trade.

The African Continental Free Trade Agreement (the AfCFTA) private sector dialogue is a series of virtual townhalls designed to provide the African private sector with the opportunity and platform to engage in, and contribute to, the implementation of the AfCFTA. The series is designed to provide a platform for private sector stakeholders and entities to provide their insights, views and experiences for consideration by implementing governments and institutions.

At each townhall, we will draw on the expertise of renowned African professionals from both the public and private sectors across the continent as they discuss the implications and opportunities of the AfCFTA in the goods and services sectors and address issues such as dispute resolution, investment, tax and digital trade. The launch and maiden edition of the series will discuss key issues in the implementation of the AfCFTA.
