With due consideration to the unprecedented Coronavirus Pandemic and the increasing and unknown numbers in Nigeria, and being aware that the Nigerian government is responding to the guidelines adopted by both the World Health Organization and the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), our team at ALP, is in full alignment with these advisory measures.
Specifically, in the interest of safety of all our staff, our visiting clients and the general public and to ensure the seamless continuity and sustainability of our business operations we have resorted to our contingent “business continuity mode”, to ensure that we are able to continuously serve and add value to our clients, throughout this period while adhering to the above guidelines.
All staff will be working remotely from home for an initial period of 14 days starting Monday March 23rd 2020, subject to further monitoring and assessment of the situation.
The firm will rely on our secure ICT infrastructure for external and intra-office communications while everyone will remain available via email and phone.
All non-essential out of station travel remains suspended throughout this period. Staff returning from travel to countries of concern have also been advised to self-isolate for the WHO recommended period of 14 days.
Employees, if present in the office from time to time, when totally necessary, have been advised to continue to maintain very high levels of hygiene and practice social distancing, during this period.
We continue to encourage everyone to practice increased care and awareness at work and home and to curtail health risks to themselves, their families and colleagues.
